Here are some hand forged Railroad Spikes knives by Daniel Ehrenberger. Daniel was once on the verge of becoming a Mastersmith with the ABS at the age of only 21, but only completely 3 of the 5 necessary test knives. Daniel has since moved on to other interests, for the most part, but continues to make a few knives a year. Mainly forged railroad spikes and horseshoe knives.
These knives are unique, professionally heat treated, ergonomically friendly and perfectly suitable for use as a hunting knife or just as a conversation piece. They are also hair popping sharp.
All three Spike knives are shown in the first picture, but only the clip point (middle knife) is shown in the second and third pics to illustrate how the edges and finish looks. Each is stamped DE on the butt.
