The Pohl Force is made by Eickhhorn and was designed by Dietmar Pohl. I like the model with the plain G-10 scales.
Do you feel them large or over built? There is CSAR model too but not sure which one to buy. I will buy once and buy last. Can you put some more pics of your own knife.
I would go with CRKT.Yes, a folder is only as good as the edge it keeps
Along with an all too important reliable lock which actually holds up.
It does sound like a job tailor made for cold steel products.
There are martial combative knives to fit every pocket.
The article maybe somewhat dated
but would be relevant reading material
If not entertaining general reference pointers...

I want a knife that can cut when needed and cut brutally. Lock should be good (no need of bomb proof but good.)
What's your MOS?
Primarily Rescue, Combat secondary.
So a one in all knife needed, coz buy once and use forever
We just have service numbers. Rest is known by batallion and company.
No worries. Just curious what it would actually be used for. As a retired 11B (infantry) all I can say is a folder is a secondary use knife and most carried a good strong fixed blade of some sort. If you are serious about it being used in actual combat then forget using a folder and get a strong fixed blade of your choice. Strong being key word.
