Hey Guys,
My father received this knife while he was on a British Fob in Afghanistan from a British SAF guy. This knife, the RT III-MOD-RM, is identical to the Eickhorn RT III dive knife, except the handle is only black. As far as I can tell, this version of the Eickhorn rescue tool is not available for public sale, and is a British issue item only. The knife features a heavy-duty screwdriver at the point of the blade. The overall length is 10.6", the blade length is 5.3", the blade thickness is .18", the weight is 8.8oz, and the steel is 1.4110 (X55CrMo14)
The knife appears to have never been used, and only has some scuffs from the sheath.
This would be a great knife for the collector of European military knives, and it will probably be the only one you ever see for sale. The price for the civilian model new is about $200
