Hey Everyone,

I recently found an EKA swede 60 that was my dads that was given to him by a company he used to work for in sweden and im trying to find a replacement handle that is wooden but i havent had any luck.
I have emailed EKA but they have yet to reply to me and thought i might as well ask, i really want to fix this knife up as its got a stamp on the blade and holds sentimental value to my dad.

Thanks in advance and thanks for having me here have a great day :)

I think this is a good candidate for the " Knifemaker / Craftsman / Related Services" sub-forum. I'll move it there.

Adding an image of the knife would make it much easier for someone to respond. You can upload images to Photobucket (or another hosting site). Copy and paste the code associated with the image into your post. The code format resembles this http: etc....[IMG].

Good luck!

Sorry for posting in the wrong section and thank you for the advice and moving it for me :)

Here are pictures of the Handle and Blade/ Folding mechanism:

as you can see one of the pieces of the handle has a split running through it :(

You can also see the stamp on the blade in the other photo :)

This knife is at least 20 years old any advice on getting a replacement handle or fixing up of this knife would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
