I don't think that the ridges are too rough. The monster thumb disk does make the Mini A-100 knife much easier to open up.
In my opinion it was well worth the $.

Looking forward to picking one of these up, will be my first Emerson. Hopefully can find a Poboy not long after that.
 
Hey I just visited the Emerson store and was suprised to see Mini A-100s are in stock. I was more interested in the Micro Commander though. I might get one of those.
 
What's going on with them Mini A-100s? They used to be gone within a few of hours, but now they are still in stock after several days?
