El Pato Poquito---12" AK Villager

etp777, posts like your last one make me want to be a knifemaker when I grow up. The only question in my head now is whether I will do it as a hobby or a living. First I need to get out of the friggin' Army so I can get a house of my own and set up a shop!
 
heh, my "shop" is a corner in my kitchen(where kitchen table would go) and corner of living room(on other side of wall from corner in the kitchen, with little breakfast bar between them that has nails in it for belts, and holds partially ground blanks, etc). So don't need a huge amount of room. And the area in the living room was my "upgradde". I heat treat out on little 6'x4' "patio" outside back door of apt. That about covers my work area. Maybe 60 sq ft total. If that.
 
60 sq. ft; well, that's about 1/4 the size of the room I have now, and it isn't all mine. Plus I have to deal with a decidedly unpleasant roommate. I work the night shift and have to sleep during the day, but he won't turn off his TV for me. I'm fighting back right now with my radio. :D I don't think he's sleeping too well, and I have zero sympathy.
