Pancho , a BF member mentioned once on a knife I had up for sale that I borrowed the design from his avatar . Well , after looking at his avatar I realized I had a blade on the table that looked a lot like it . So I decided to finish it up and keep it clean and simple as it is in the avatar . Here is what I ended up with for the EL VALIENTE FIGHTER . Hope you all like it .

Steel is - 3/16" ATS-34 S.S. Rockwell at 59-60 hollow ground with a scotch brite satin finish
O.A.L is 12-1/4"
Blade is from tip to handle - 5-1/2"
Handle is a long one at 6-3/4" , dyed Red Oak , sealed and buffed with 303 s.s. pins .
1-1/2" at it's widest point.
Sheath is 8-9 oz , hand stitched , dark tan dyed and oiled .
SOLD
$ 145.00 , shipping and pay-pal fees included . Postal M/O or checks accepted with time to clear for cks. I ship USPS priority .

You know...there's just something that pops in most well made knives. This type of design maybe lends itself to looking kinda cheezy, cheap, or poorly made. Not a single one of those things stands out to me in this case. That knife looks extremely well made and speaks a great deal to me. Everything on that knife fits perfectly with the design. Great job!

Thanks Guys

Nathan , when I 1st. profiled that blade out I did not like it so much , it sat for some time before I thought of finishing it . As I worked on it though , it grew on me more and more and I am pleased with the results and how it feels in the hand .

Who ever bought that better be careful! Jack’s blades are the sharpest I’ve ever handled. That looks way to dangerous for me to handle.
