Electric Chainsaw or Sawzall?

I've often thought I could rule the world with a cordless sawzall and a sack full of blade.
I've spent a lot of time with my Milwaukee Super Sawzall doing demo, even cut my old used up riding lawnmower into manageable pieces so I could haul it off.

The only limit is blades and the reach of extension cords.

My Echo chainsaw has cut down a ton of trees but like anything that runs on gas it sometimes decides not to play especially after sitting for lengthy periods.

All good ideas but it kind of depends what I need to cut up before a pick the tool.

Thanks dog! Here I was thinkin I'd never buy a "user" khuk anywhere near 40oz, and yet now I need one lol that 20" Lachuu is my fav of the bunch, followed by the Bura 12". I mean look at the grain on that handle...
Here is what it looked like before I polished and oiled it.

I got one of them Milwaukee Supers too. Man that is an awesome saw and well worth the price. I built my dome with that thing and used it daily. I finally started getting them carbide blades and man there aint nothing you cant cut with it. My friend and I cut up a car with it into cubes small enough to throw in the dumpster. The junkyard wouldnt take it because we didnt have a title. He had a gas powered chop saw which was better for the task but that saw took plenty of chunks. Just before we started chopping we ran over the car with a rock crawler and crushed the top in and busted all the windows out. Sure was fun:D Theres a video out there somewhere of the carnage. If I can find it ill post it.

Maybe you're sick of reading, but I'll throw this out there:

I used to get firewood in the form of perfectly round 4" logs that were 36" long. they were the remains of wood that was shaved into veneer to make matches.
I bought a chop saw to cut them into 18" logs to fit my fireplace and it worked great.
Very safe.
Would be great for clean scrap lumber too.

If I had to do the same but with odd lumber and scrapwood, I'd do it with a Sawzall-type with a destruction blade, simply for the fact that I have one and it cuts like a hot knife thru butter.
Pallets, plywood, 2x4s, 6x6s, nails, screws, industrial staples.
You name it, it cuts great.

My chainsaw is for limbs, logs, and trees.

YMMV

Very interesting, the 4" 36" long veneer wood....

I'm using a circular saw right now but I can't wait to get a chop saw/electric sawzall!

Love you guys, thanks!
