Electric Motor Revisted

I recently posted a thread asking for advice on sourcing a new electric motor for my grinder. I got some good sound advice. Now I just need one question answered, and hope you fellas can help. I did indeed get a new motor from Harbor Freight, for a good price too. Unfortunately, it's a 1hp rated at 1800 RPMs and my old Coote grinder is only rated at 1725 RPMs. I don't think it will be a problem, but, I was wrong once.

Manufacturers put 1800 on there all the time. As I understand it standard induction motors will not get true 1800 rpm.

1725 or 1800. Your coote won't know the difference.
