Electric Valve on eBay

Just saw this, thought it might work for someone's salt pot project. Looks a bit overbuilt for that application but who knows? Kind of pricey too. I don't know this seller or have anything to do with the auction, just pointing it out.

Dave, I was not being stubborn. I was just unsure of what this valve could be used for on a salt pot. Most gas solenoid valves are 1/4" to 1/2" and have threaded fittings. That valve appears to be a 2" low pressure water line valve.

Yeah, mine's 3/4", I didn't look at this one close enough to see whether it had threads. I figured a valve is a valve though, that's all.
 
Yeah, I thought you might have not noticed the twist-lok fittings. They push on and turn, sort of like a vacuum hose used to.

Yeah, now I look at it I see what you mean and why your question. Good thing you mentioned that, or someone less observant might have wasted a hundred bucks. Thanks.
