electro etch on acid etch

Hi. I need to electro etch my logo on an acid etched blade (154cm). I've never done this before and not sure if it works.
I'm sure you guys know so let me know. thanks!

Yes it will. You may have to get a bit of a deeper etch, but that's all. Try a test piece first.Frank

I think I have seen where they leave a block area clear of the acid etch and electro after. Post your results, am interested in how it turns out.

Well, it was disastrous. I can barely see the logo I etched on the acid etched blade. My fault for not testing on a scrap piece. I electro etched longer than usual. could be because of my cheap etcher... don't know.
