Electrolyte recipies?

I am finding that the cost of electrolyte and cleaner for etching is getting a bit expensive. I did a search, and found one recipie for stainless of 4 oz. vinegar to 1 Tablespoon salt. Anyone else out there willing to share their recipies for stainless, non-stainless, and cleaner?

I use the vinegar and salt sometimes, it has worked well for me
