Hope this comes through, I'm pretty noobly when it comes to posting photos.
It looks like the grand canyon! Which is how any cracking in my steel looks to me anyway, haha.

That's pretty darn cool though. Approximately what magnification is this at?

That's really a neat shot. One R&D job I did we had an electron microscope. For fun we took pics of all sorts of things (b&w): many looked like wild landscapes, and could just about pass for something from Ansel Adams :-). If someone didn't tell you it was a speck of dust, or a fly's backside you'd never guess in a hundred years.
