I just received word from Valerie that my new fixed blade is on the way (I should have it Friday).
A while back Alan asked me to build some sheaths for a pair of fixed blades that he would soon have available. In order to have a good fit to the knives he sent one each of his new designs (you can see them on his web site at; http://www.elishewitzknives.com/fixedblades.htm ). I liked them both so much that I was genuinely sad to have to send them back when the project was complete. They were both superb in every way. I was so impressed I ordered one (something I rarely do). I did ask for one change however. You see my passion is for fighters, so I ordered the dagger blade but I really liked the handle of the drop point best (just one of those personal preference quirks you know). Alan was very kind and agreed to make one just for me.
