Elishewitz Mono-Lock ?

could someone please explain how the Mono-Lock functions, is it comparable to a liner-lock or maybe a frame-lock ? Any input is appreciated, Thanks, David.

Monolock=Integral Lock=Frame Lock. Allen is using the term coined by Benchmade, a company he has strong ties with.
