Elk Antler

I have an elk antler (one side) that I want to cut up for handle material. Should I remove all the pith in the antler before sending out for stabilization? My thought process is that you pay by the weight for the stabilization process and thus it would be cheaper to remove the pith. Do I have it all wrong? Thanks for your time and knowledge.

I Just use thin super glue to stabilize elk antler.

if you use super glue on the inside of the scale, it will help seal it, assuming you are building a full tang knife. On a hidden tang only the outside of the antler will be exposed.
