Here is my third knife. I forged it from a Nicholson file and the hardware is mild steel. The handle is from an elk shed and the wood was a firewood giveaway from burl source.
The wood is not stabilized and is very soft. I tried to harden it with CA but maybe didn't put enough as it's still too soft for my liking.
The knife has a mirror polish but scratches easy. I think I might put a hand rubbed 400 grit finish on it instead.
