Like most things on ebay, its the shipping that gets you. I've always done pretty well with buying "lots" of cut antler or "lots" of sheds. The shipping doesn't seem so bad once you divide it and the price of the antler by how many handles you can make. You can alsways sell or trade the tine sections to somebody that makes game calls. Antlersbythemillions has pretty good deals. Forgive the ingnorance of this FL boy if I'm wrong, but don't you live up there where the elk are? Grab the family and go hunting for sheds in the wild...we have fun tramping around in the woods down here, except for the ticks and mosquitos.

It's gonna take some hunting to find Elk Sheds in Iowa. Don't get caught on the Elk Farms looking for sheds. Might be a good place to buy some.
I have Elk tines I would sell if you need 4-5. Mine are 1 inch to 1-3/4 inches

$2 a tine is pretty darn cheap in my book. That sure beats $15 for a slab of wood sometimes. I have visions of that paring knife(?) that Hannah Morgan made on the back cover of an issue of Blade a few months back...
