Hello folks , recently a local hunter asked me to make him a skinning knife for his elk hunting , after doing a couple of drawings with his input and request , this is what we came up with . I made a couple extra .
This was hollow ground from 3/16th " , 1-1/2" wide A-2 Tool Steel and heat treated to a Rockwell hardness of 61-62 .Satin finished with a fine scotch bright belt .
It is 8" overall in length , with a blade at 3-1/2" and a sharpened edge at 3"
Handled in some Nicely Marbled Circassian Walnut with Red Liners and Brass Pins .
Sheath is right hand carry .
Hope you all like it and comments appreciated .
$170.00 SOLD shipped in the USA priority mail . Pay-pal , postal m/o , check ( held to clear) ,cash ok also . My pay pal is sandlot@charter.net
