Elmax AD just arrived!!!

Just opened mine. My first direct from Busse, Busse.
 
Those look great guys! Let me know if any of you ever want to part with one, I need one to match my gentleman's knife.
 
Looking at some of these pics and I do not consider these seconds. I strip several of my blades. I like the raw steel, makes me all tingly inside :eek:, anyway, there are some machine marks on the stripped blades. I think it adds character. I also make knives and on an occasion you might be one with an off angle or two. Again custom character lol. I understand how Mr Busse wants the highest standard, but some of us like things a little different from the rest of pack. It is what sets us apart from the lemming train of everyday life.

I feel the same way. Mine IS perfect. It hasn't left my belt yet! [emoji4]
 
This thing is awesome. So thin. IT will be a great slicer and EDC. I can't find a single mark on mine. Maybe in the holes but I don't think that counts.

2 active duty elmax arrived today. My wife got the pleasure of unboxing and handling them first! At least she sent me some pics.
 
Mine arrived yesterday. This is my first Busse, I have only had kin. I think this is going to be a great little blade, it is so thin and amazingly sharp. Do all Busses come this sharp?

Yes. That is why they send the sliced up paper.
 
Well now I am hooked, this is an awesome blade.

I am now down a pair of dress pants though. It was an Elmax AD related incident, completely my fault. No injuries except the pants.
