Finally got a day off from work to work on a homemade knife and finally use my new personal favorite, Bark River Elmax Gunny.

Im carving down a piece of birch for a handle.

The Elmax Gunny with its acute convex geometry eats wood like nothing. A pure joy to use.
It's incredible how sharp this knife is even with the factory micro bevel.
I even was wrenching on a knot. Which would have deformed my Mora knives.
Best of all it's still razor blade sharp.

I've been looking for this performance for a long time.
