Hi Folks,
I'm at it again, this time with ELMAX. I just got a call on this material that is, .148" thick and is priced at $850 per sheet (24"x36"). If we get enough to order 5 sheets the price would go a bit lower still. I already plan to order a sheet for myself and wanted to offer the forum a chance to order with as I did with the M390 Group buy. I can have the steel cut from the same machine shop that did the cuts overnight during the last order.
Also while I have this up; are there any specialty steels that people would like to see carried here on the forum? Every new alloy I order is a new alloy for me to work with so please let me know if you have a suggestion so I have an excuse to tell my wife when I stock it....
If there is some interest I will open a group buy thread in the Knifemakers for sale sub-forum and will post open prices just like the last time.
