• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

ELVIS Pocket Knife ..... ?????

One of my twin boys has been a little crazy over Elvis Presley for a few years now and he asked if I ever saw a Elvis Presley knife before. I told him no I haven't. So I went to eBay and found a bunch of Elvis knives. Mostly low end ones though. Is there any higher qualitiy Elvis knives out there at all? Being it was just his birthday last week, maybe I can pick him up a better one before the holidays roll around again at the end of the year if there are any!

Ohhhh man, a kid after my own heart baby, now that's class.....(said while wearing a white polyester suit with sequins and a REALLY big collar...)

The best Elvis knife I've ever seen was a Case Trapper. Take that back, I think I did see a Buck once, but it wasn't that impressive. Maybe you should get him a Small Sebenza and have "EAP 01-08-35 TCB" engraved on it.

Anyone have a pic of that Case Trapper? Bob, I did try SMKW already and also Frost Cutlery, no luck! He even dressed up like Elvis this past Halloween too. Email me Elvislives, I can email you a pic of him in his trick or threat ELVIS gettup!

I could make you a nice drop point hunter and use fried peanut butter and nanner sammiches for the handles. I think I could soak em in super glue for a month or two and they'd stiffen right up.

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!http://www.nebsnow.com/L6steel

Why don't you try Junglee, they've got a number of folders with pictures on them. I'm pretty sure one of them has a HOUNDDOG on it.....

Bad Joke, sorry....
At least this way you won't have your son running around singing to his folder (you ain't nothin' but a .......")

Check the franklin mint collection. I don't know what the quality is but they seem to have a commemorative knife for everything you can think of.

Mark, I don't know a lot about Elvis, but I do know he was into Martial Atrs for a while, I know he was into guns, and I believe I read that some maker listed him as one of his customers. It could have been Gil Hibben, Jimmy Lile or even John Nelson Cooper. I'm sure with some further research you could find out. I just think it would be so neat if you could give your son a copy of a knife that Elvis had actually owned, rather than some tourist knife from Graceland or Franklin Mint. Just a thought.

Hey, Phil, nice though, BUT, if you take a look at ebay, anything owned by elvis (that can actually be authenticated) usually runs at a minimun of $10,000. Add a famous knifemaker to the pot, and you're probably looking at well over $20,000.
BTW, I AM NOT an Elvis fan. Although I have to say I'd like to get married in Las Vegas by Rabbi Elvis one of these days, just for kicks. (when I find a good girl, that is) I was inspired to take to a look there by that little thread. And NO, I AM NOT IN DENIAL!!! (I know I'm addict, but only to knives and caffeine....)

Ed, sorry I wasn't suggesting a knife actually owned by Elvis, but a copy. For example if Elvis owned a Hibben Kenpo Karate knife, maybe a United copy of it would do it for Mark's son.

My buddy that lives in PA thinks he may have found me one made by Case a while back! I'm just waiting for his reply now. It is a blue pic bone trapper in a presentation box.

Thanks for your suggestions guys, ELVIS would have been proud of you all!

Hey edrozen,

Whassamatter man, you afraid to admit yer a fan of the king....*burrrrp*

Aw man, you don't wanna watch my big fat sweaty rear-end dancing across the stage forgetting the words to all my songs???

What's wrong with you?

I am really a huge Elvis fan, but I'm not a fanatic. And I'm also a realist.
