Is there any way to stop recieving email notifications everytime someone responds to a Thread I subscribed to? I like having the threads show on my User CP Page but I check in often enough that I really don't need all those extra emails in my Inbox, especially if it is a "busy" Thread.

Go to your User Control Panel, click on "view all subscribed threads" and click on "unsubscribe" under each thread you want to unsubscribe.

Another way is to go to the thread and click on "unsubscribe" at the bottom.
 
Cougar, I think you misunderstood my question. I am not trying to unsubscribe from the threads. I understand how to do that.

I receive an email notification from BF every time someone posts a message to any thread that I have subscribed to. I am trying to find out if there is a way to stop the email notifications. During the day while I am home I keep the computer on, and usually have BF on the screen. I do not need notified by email when someone post a message to a subscribed thread as by the time I get the email, I've already read the post. Having to then go and delete an email is wasted time.

Go to user control panel, go under edit options and there is a spot for e-mail notifications you can turn on and off
 
No, that won't help, Bad Guy -- that's the option for getting email notifications for every thread you've ever posted in (which would drive you nuts if you used it in a busy website like Bladeforums).

Gypsy, I just reread your original post and it's perfectly clear what you're asking -- sorry. :footinmou I hear that will be an option with the next vBulletin update, but it isn't available yet. I'm looking forward to that myself; I would like to have subscribed threads in my UCP without getting email over them too.
 
OK Guys !!!! Thanks for trying and for the info. I guess until the next update to BF's software comes out I will just have to set up a filter on my email. Can you say, "automatic delete???" :p
