Went out for anniversary dinner with the spousal unit last night. The prime rib was very, very good. I ate so much I only had room for one pint of Stella, and forgot to have ice cream when we got home. I too, am getting old

Hmm, I've been carrying a lot of folders lately, mostly traditionals... So I've been gone for a bit. My beckers did get used though, mostly the 14. Haven't been out enough to make my 16 go through its paces. Tomorrow I'll be out hunting for fossils again, and then there's just no relying on folders. The 14 will be there with me, all day long. Time to make up with that little fellow.

My wife asked me what the point of having a bunch of expensive knives just sitting in a drawer is, I asked her whats the point of having over 75 pairs of shoes, im not over exaggerating either, she use to sell expensive womens shoes and she bought as much as she sold i think. We have a walk in closet and its slap full of shoes. We have a coat closet and its full shoes and even my daughters closet has some of mommas shoes!
Her reason was she can only wear 1 set for each event but even the ones she has never worn has an outfit to go with it... so she needs the shoes...
My reply was EXACTLY, i can only use 1 at a time, and i have a user in every size. The others are they because i love the designs.
I stopped counting my knives, i have some all over at this point. At my desk here i have a leatherman, a muela skinner, a cryo, a bk14 and 2 buck keychain knives.... down in my man cave i have atleast 4 or 5 as well, and then there is my rubbermaid box and my display case. But even if i got them all together im sure she still has more shoes than i do knives.
I cant use them all, and the real good lookers i dont want to mess up when i already have a great user in that same size. I dont need more knives, but they do honestly bring me joy weather im using them or not.
