  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

I like etches!

Back to ripping out the kitchen . . . . .grrrrrr:D

All fine looking knives Charlie. As I've said; I like some etchings such as the Schatt & Morgan etch on the knife in the lower left corner. Very subtle. However, as for the three on the right, I'd probably leave the Prototype etch etch alone because it is a prototype but the other two below it I'd most likely polish out the etch.

Good luck with the kitchen!!

To be honest, I am a fan of the older styled etches, such as the examples that Jake produced on his old ad, or Charlies HJ,s.
I am not too crazy about the calf roper etch, it is almost like the style of the younger marketed knives in the 50's and 60's, and in this case I think the change did good Ed.
