Here's an unusual bit of filework! The spring and blade stand proud of the handle, with a rope-like pattern!
Nice 4 1/4" Trapper by Bill Ruple! Amber Stag and comfortable in the hand! When folded it has a semi-sunk joint!! It's the only one like it I have ever seen!View attachment 1406390 View attachment 1406391

Oo!! I do like a raised, fileworked backspring and blade. Especially if they line up tight. Beautiful piece.

Charlie, it's a shofar, used in Jewish religious ceremonies. I can't play it, but some people (with talent) can.
