Embrace the gray. Post your patina!

I like the blues and purples I get from cutting up meat. Recently I have been starting patinas this way and then letting them develop from there.

The color is a little more vivid in real life, currently beyond my level of photography.

Mistwalker, If you're asking about the Stubby, I used regular mustard. Put round drops on the blade, let it patina for an hour or so, rinsed and then applied smaller drops inside the larger ones. I kinda' like how it turned out. The Stubby's not exactly a macho blade but with "Rattlesnake" micarta, a Skull bead and some out of the box patina, it's the tough, short, chubby kid on the block...

I really like the rainbow of colors O-1 will develop from blood.

It looks like a stout little edc blade, and that patina looks cool on it.

The only patina I have ever deliberately embellished (not exactly forced but intentionally left sitting in veg i had prepped)

Thanks Phil.
This one is a real carnivore. It's devoured beef, chicken, quail, lamb, ham, bacon, crocodile, kangaroo, goat, venison.......

I've had 8 outta 10......not too bad
I'll guess croc is much like gator and .....well I have no idea about roo

Here's my well loved Runt. It's my most carried most used Fiddleback. It also is my first Fiddleback and I got it just before I adopted our daughter! Her little character has grown over the last year and a half+ just like my little Runt has earned its character (patina!).

You folks can't imagine how proud I am to be in your user rotation. When I hear folks EDCing my stuff I really beam. Thanks to everyone for this thread. Nice used tools make me happy.

Hard to use em because they're so beautiful. But so nice to do so! I search for excuses to get em out and cut something.
