Emerson - All Things

I was so close to buying a Blue line edition thunderstorm with flag handles and lanyard ~ sweet looking knife IMHO * I like a little Pizzazz . . But! as tempting as it was I need a Lefty .
 
Well it's been a full day with the new Commander and I am liking it ~ I'll tell ya it sure is Grippy and the blade has given me the Willy's a few times ~ I carried it all day doing some yard work and took it for a ride on my bike a few hours and it sat there very comfortable the entire time , So far so good 🤘

I’ve never come across another knife with the grip of the g10 on an Emerson. And Ernie’s blade designs are unmatched in my opinion. The commander being a classic of his. I don’t know why I haven’t owned one yet. It’s definitely on my short list after a full size cqc 15 and a cqc 17!

I’m in the same boat. Never owned a commander. I have the multitool that has that same commander shaped blade but it’s very small. I need to get one!
 
It makes a cool sound when opening it up ~ kinda like a click as the detent ball falls and then clunk as the liner locks up ~ click clunk click clunk, I'm going to try and get a song together with it ~ Something real bluesy with train tracks in it :)

Back around 2009 I gifted a neighbor's son a CQC7 when he enlisted in the Marine Reserves. I hadn't seen him for well over 10 years, ran into him at a wedding last week. First thing he told me was he still had the 7, was one of his favorite things. That made my day!
