^^Nice one buddy!!! Or should I say pair:D

I'm guessing you saw the "green" description, but that customshop Colt is my "namesake", Officer's Match. A run of 250 stainless steel pistols with two top-ends, a 5" Gold Cup and a 3.5" Officer's, both set up for the same frame, all serial numbered "OMxxx", in a fitted case.

Thanks Ray.

Yeah that's a real beauty alright. I just bought my first 1911 a couple of weeks ago and took it to my dad's to show it off to him.
He broke out his 1970 GI Colt that he taught me to shoot when I was 7 or 8. Bastid wouldn't trade me....

The 1911-bug is every bit as infectious and $-devouring as the Emerson addiction. I've had a lot of 1911's, including Wilson Combats, Ed Browns, Kimbers, Les Baers, Colts and more, and this full customshop build from Springfield back in 1991 when their customshop was being ran by Les Baer, is hands down my favorite. Still in it's original hard chrome, upgraded with Esmeralda ebony grips.

I agree they are addicting. I don't have any customs but have done small mods myself on a few of mine. Just got some ebony for my carry.
