Interesting I didn't know they made a cqc7 without a tanto blade. I'll be looking into this one. Is the cqc15 thinker then the 7?

For what you are looking for, here are my recomendations:
Sheepdog bowie
Horseman
CQC7A
A-100
And if you like a bigger knife:
aftershock
cqc13
Cqc8
Super cqc8
Patriot

All of these feel amazing in the hand and are rock solid.

What's the difference between the cqc8 and the super 8?

And would u go aftershocks or one of the cqc8?
 
I think I like the blade shape on the cqc8 over the aftershock. But I like the size and look of the aftershock more.

I'm definitely more into dop or spear point over something with a upswept blade.
 
Blade thickness is the same in all of them (i think), aside from the XHD models.

Check out the Combat System Fighter and Tiger . Those are like an 8 blade on Roadhouse and CQC-13 frames.

I like bigger blades, so I prefer the Aftershock. The handle feels fuller and fills the hand better to me. The CQC8 is awesome, but narrower blade and handle. The Super cqc 8 is just going to be a slightly bigger version of the regular cqc8
