Ok guys, here is my next offering. If anyone can provide accurate info on this blade please do.
This is an Emerson Commander that was part of Commander/Karambit set bought in 2003 (noted by the date on the blade itself)
They are serial numbered 008 and have green liners that I believe to be Ti.
The Commander is in immaculate factory new condition. The karambit that was the other blade in this limited edition set has been carried EDC so I'm not including it at this time as I plan on returning it back to Emerson for refurbishing.
I believe this one of only twenty sets, if anyone has info otherwise please let me know.
Ok guys , going to do slight price bump to move this beautiful , immaculate Emerson Commander
Now asking $350. don't miss out on your chance to one this rare blade!
Thanks for looking
Bobby A.

Hello,

I have a reasonable amount of experience with Emerson knives and I wanted to provide you with what little info I have on your knife.

I don't believe you have a Super Commander from the mid 90's. The original production standard size Commander was introduced in 1998 and the Super Commander in 2003 as a TAD Gear collaboration.

It's hard to tell from the picture, but the size of the knife doesn't appear to be that of a Super Commander. In the picture the blade appears to be approximately 3.5" or so with an overall length of about 8". The Super commander has a 4" blade with and overall length of 9.5" per the specs on the Emerson website.

I can't see what markings are on the blade so it may say Super Commander on it but it definitely was not produced in the mid 90's. Even if it's a standard size Commander it does not have any of the features of one from 98 or 99.

I sent another email on I'll take it, for your knife listed above on 08/02. Talk to you soon, Thanks. Tried to send PM but maybe it is not on, not sure, thanks.

seadragon59,
Did you get my first I'll take it? Not sure if my emails are going through. Please email me or PM me, let me know. Much appreciated.

Sir I am so sorry about the delayed response , thought I had my settings to let me know when someone posted on my listings . I'm very sorry and apologize for jot knowing about your postings until just now. And I actually will admit that I had posted this blade until tonight and I found out how to check my listings , I was jot kidding when I said I had been out of the loop for a while. I was looking all this time for it in the wrong section. Please accept my apologies for not seeing your postings. If your still interested in the blade I promise prompt response now that I have the system figured out.
Again my apologies sir
Best regards
Bobby A.

Silvanus, thanks for you input, you helped jog my memory , this Emerson came from TadGear. I should have looked at the blade closer prior to posting.
It is a commander, and as you can see from the better pics , it says 2003. I think it was 008 of 020 but I'm not sure, the liners are green, it came as a matched set with a karmbit also marked 008 with matching liners. Can you confirm any other info on this blade. The karambit was a EDC and week used but still good shape (I plan on sending it back to Emerson to see if they can refurbish it). The commander is absolutely pristine, never carried, never sharpened, vault stored, not a scratch or mark on it.
Thanks for your input
Bobby A.
