Hello BF,
I am looking to trade my Emerson cqc-10 user. I've carried this knife for a couple of weeks. I like it a lot, but I'm looking for a knife with a different handle for my giant sausage fingers. I have used the blade to cut several items, including some small packages I received in the mail, and a couple of cigars. I carried a spyderco alongside the Emerson that did the nasty stuff. There is minimal wear on the blade. I've only honed it on a leather strop, I have not sharpened the edge.
On to some pictures. I am not a photographer but these should show off the amount of wear on the knife. I'd say it's 97% of what it was out of the box. Still in great shape! Lockup is great, and I cleaned off the bearings so this knife has a super smooth opening. I also switched the side of the pivot screw adjustment so it would not scratch my tables when I place it down. Knife comes with an extra silver pocket clip with a skull on it.
As you can see, aside from some dirt this knife is in beautiful condition. I don't baby my tools but I don't misuse them, either!
Here are some closeups of the edge/blade. It's centered well.
