Emerson CQC-10 thoughts?

The blade is a v grind.
The edge is a chisel grind.
I think that is the easiest and most accurate way to put it.

I have had an Emerson CQC-8 for over 2 years now and it has been a great knife. It cuts well holds an edge better than both of my Benchmade Grippys. I'd say buy one, if anything goes wrong Emerson will take care of you.

sounds good to me...........

and again, i love EKI's and have always been happy with every single one i have had, they are a bit different than most other knives though due to the grind, which a lotta folks dont understand and therefore probably dont like, they do take some getting used to, and a lotta folks look at ads for EKI's and buy one expecting a std "V" grind and are unhappy. but once ya get used to them and learn to sharpen them properly they will do most anything any other knife will, i know i have never once thought "gee i wish i had a conventional "V" grind for this task", ya just gotta get used to them.
