For sale is a low number Emerson CQC-12 SFS Comrade #0015. Emerson's first Framelock, 2004 manufacture date. New in Box, never used, carried or sharpened. Opens fast and smooth, locks up tight and centered, closes with a slight preference for the G-10 side but no rub marks on the blade and no contact with the G-10.

The blade shape of this knife was inspired by the AKM bayonet, which was a radical redesign of the original AK-47 bayonet.

Stone washed, satin-finished partially serrated 3.9" blade with bead blasted Titanium Framelock (not the more common shiny polished Titanium finish usually found with the Stone washed / Satin coated blades).

Materials:
Handles: G-10
Liner: 6AL 4V Titanium
Blade: Serrated 154CM
Finish: Satin

Specifications:
Overall Length: 8.85 in.
Blade Length: 3.900 in.
Blade Thickness: .125 in.
Hardness: 57-59 RC
Weight: 4.6 oz.

This is a Big knife, yet as a framelock it is quite thin and fits the hand extremely well.

$520, $500, now $475

Price includes USPS Priority Mail shipping (insured for $50) and Paypal fee (unless funds are coming from international source; then buyer must add 4%). Additional insurance available at buyer's request and added to price of the item. USPS Money Orders also accepted.

No sales to NYC.

Is this finish referred to as "satin ceramic"? or is it stonewashed without additional coatings?

That's a good question. Emerson is closed for the day, but I pulled out my Tiger SF and the stonewashed blade is shiny. The blade on the Comrade SFS is satin finished, not shiny, with the exception of the cutting edge. I don't know about the "ceramic" part.

Hope this is helpful.
