Good morning, folks.
Here we have an Emerson CQC-13 Bowie, Wave feature, black blade with partial serrations.
This was an EDC for some time, and is begging for someone to put it back into service.
This is one of my favorite Emerson models. The 154CM steel takes & holds a great edge, and the blade shape is useful for hunting & skinning, defense (if that's your thing), camp chores, and general utility. This model features a full V-grind, with a chisel grind at the edge. And, as most of you know, Emerson knives are built with Phillips and standard screw heads, making them easy to disassemble for cleaning or adjustment.
As you can see in the photos, the black coating is worn & scratched in places.
The G-10 handles are in nice shape, although they have a few spots. These are only surface gunk, not chips or cracks, and could be cleaned off if so desired.
The blade has been sharpened, but is full.
The pocket clip is not bent or deformed. All the screws are intact, not stripped.
I've tried to photograph the lockup, which has not moved or progressed in the time I've owned this knife. It's stayed right where it is now, without developing more travel.
The blade is centered pretty well between the liners.
No box available (it didn't come with one when I bought it second-hand).
Since this is a user and not a safe queen, it's priced as such. Let's go with $115 shipped, lower 48 states please, paypal preferred.
Buyer is responsible for compliance with whatever local laws may apply in their particular region.
First "I'll take it" in this thread gets first consideration, but please follow up with a PM or email.
Thanks,
Alex
