I just sold my production CQC-7B to a co-worker that just had to have it, so now im stuck with the delima on what to replace it with. I like the Emerson, but the new BM 722 intrigues me as well. They have similiar specs, but the BM has the axis lock. What is the opinion of those of you that have handled the two knives in question? I definitely want a tanto this time around.

I would lean toward the 722. It has the axis lock and it isn't chisel ground. These factors make it more desirable to me than the Emerson. Other than that it is similar size and shape of the Emerson.
