Now THAT is trick! Have to say that's one of the best looking Emersons I've ever seen.

Good on you Sir!

I have a Spyderco PM2 with Punisher scales from Steve that is truly spectacular. There are no visible seams or joints. If he didn't show you how he does it you could never figure it out.

His prices are very reasonable.

Hello Daniel_7,

I do still machine this inlaid design... however the Mini CQC7 is NOT one of the knives I have CAD/CAM/Gcode files for... sorry...

I do them for the Mini Commander, Commander, and CQC-7...

Thank you so much for your fast reply, do you prefer that I buy a knife from Emerson and send it to you ( I live in Sweden), or how do like to work it out best?

Well... that throws a wrench into the works. I'm sorry to inform you that I can no longer export product to foreign countries.

Steve

Oh, may I ask you why? There is no problem at all for me to buy and get knives delivered from USA. I just love your work and are prepared to do almost whatever it takes to get part of it.

If I buy the knife here in Sweden, can you make the scales/handles and deliver them to a friend of mine in USA?

It has to do with the US governments' definition of a 'hobby business'. I have run up against an undetermined number of foreign sales that tripped the Dept of Commerce's threshold for export filings. They have notified me that further exportation and I will be considered a full fledged business requiring multiple licenses, inspections and increased taxation. I was operating completely within the 'hobby businesses' maximum income threshold... not certain why items sent to foreign countries became an issue.

Yes... if you have a US address I can send to... I can accommodate the scale request.

Steve

I understand. Thank you, if I understand you correctly - I buy the Emerson CQC7 here in Sweden. Pay you for the scales and you send them to a friend of mine in USA who sends them to me and O mountain them by myself. It's 04am here but I will upgrade my account within midday so we can send private messages. Sounds that like a good idea?

No need to upgrade... here's my email...
