My Blade markings are EMERSON
USA
99

The knife is a CQC-7 does the 99 stand for year made?

I think you'll have better luck getting an answer by posting this over at the Emerson forums. This one is for reviews and testing.
 
Yes, you have a model year '99 CQC7.

I have CQC7B from the same year.
