I have way too many knives that I've never carried...and probably never will. I'm in the market for a few new firearms...so...some stuff must go. Hurricane Ike also made me think that I might need to simplify my knife life a little
.based on how many I packed up and evacuated with.
Anyway, I'll take the evil PayPal (and I'll eat the fees) or MO. Prices include USPS priority mail shipping with insurance and delivery confirmation. I don't think (cant remember if) I've sold anything on this forum before...but I go by the same name on evilbay. No deal is done until you are happy.
PM or email me. Probably not interested in trades but you never know. Ive got my eye on a few handguns.
Winch Focus
First up is a one of a kind (as far as I know) Winch Focus. Translucent-ish Green G-10 on one side and black G-10 on the other. Single liner. Here's a link describing the knife.
4" blade and 8 3/4 inches overall. I've had several of Dav's knives...this is by far the smoothest. Too rare for me to carry, I guess. Just can bring myself to pocket it. (This seems to often be the problem with me and custom knives.) Can't remember if the previous owner carried it, but it looks pristine to me. Can't remember what I paid...so...how about $400 shipped?
Anso Gecko
Next up is an Anso Gecko in orange G10. Again, not the first owner. This one was carried by the previous owner. I think I pocketed it a few times but I was afraid Id mess it up so I never cut anything with it. Cant speak for the previous owner.
Blade is approximately 3 ½ inches long. OAL is 8 1/8 inches open and 4 5/8 inches closed.
Clip shows wear from carry. Orange G10 looks great. Liners and bolsters show some carry wear. Small scratches on liners shiny areas on the raised parts of the bolsters and minor scratches (if that makes sense). Light scratches on parts of blade. Mostly front on clip side. Edge looks pristine to me. Pretty nice shape, overall.
Cant remember what I paid here (note to self keep records). How about $450 shipped?
Emerson CQC 5
Next up is an Emerson CQC 5. Again cant imagine scuffing it up. When I got it there was a slight imperfection in the front part of the blade (a small less than the diameter of a hair nick) and the scales liners were not quite flush in the rear. I sent it back to Ernie. Blade edge is now perfect liners and rear scales are still not quite perfect. In other words, it looks handmade. Its basically not quite even (liners and scales) at the back end of the knife. Minor but you probably cant tell from the pics. Ernie left a mark on the flat of the blade toward the scale when he reworked the edge. Kind of an abstract shaped rub mark? Its like getting a unique graphic sebenza except the mark is accidental and its on the blade (not the scale). :>) Rest of knife is pretty much unmarked.
$850 shipped.
