I have an Emerson custom CQC-5 liner lock folder with OD green canvas micarta handle scales, titanium bolsters, and a two-tone satin finished 154CM chisel ground tanto blade for sale. Ernie Emerson's knives have become legendary as far as tactical/utility folders go, and the CQC-5 is the smaller, more carry-friendly version of his flagship model, the CQC-6. The handle feels great in the hand, and the bolsters are serrated both top and bottom for maximum grip security. This piece does not have the wave feature, but it features Ernie's patented double detent.
I am not the first owner of the custom CQC-5 listed here, but it does not appear to have been been carried, used, or resharpened, and its original zero ground edge from Ernie is extremely sharp. The opening action is smooth, and the lock-up is rock solid.
