I have a mint condition Emerson custom waved CQC-7 liner lock with OD green canvas micarta handle scales, titanium bolsters, thick liner, and a two-tone satin finished 154CM chisel ground tanto blade for sale. Ernie Emerson's knives have become legendary as far as tactical/utility folders go, and the CQC-7 is one of his most EDC-friendly models ever. This piece features the wave, which allows the knife to be opened by catching the hem of your pocket as it is drawn so that the blade is completely open before it leaves the pocket. The bolsters are also serrated both top and bottom for maximum grip security.
The custom CQC-7 listed here has never been carried, used, or resharpened, and its original zero ground edge from Ernie is extremely sharp. The opening action is a little bit stiff but should wear in nicely, the lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is near perfect.
***TRADED***
The specs:
Condition: Mint
Blade length: 3 3/8" from tip to handle
Overall length: 8"
Blade thickness: Just under 5/32" at ricasso
Blade steel: 154CM
Blade finish: Two tone satin
Edge: Plain
Bolsters: Titanium, beadblasted
Handle scale material: OD green canvas micarta
Lock: Titanium liner lock, beadblasted
Backspacer: Black micarta
Clip: Tip up, stainless steel, tumbled
For payment on this piece, I can take USPS money orders and PayPal (add 3% to cover most of the PayPal fees). I can also take a personal check if I know you. If you are paying by PayPal, the payment has to be sent with a PayPal-confirmed address (including the green "confirmed" marker) listed in the invoice, and I will only ship to that PayPal-confirmed address. I reserve the right to wait for payments to clear before I ship.
I will consider trades (with appropriate cash adjustment) for custom folders and certain custom balis. I am especially interested in the following makers:
JL Williams
Charles Marlowe
Tim Galyean
Deryk Munroe
Jim Smyth
Kit Carson
Jim Burke
Gerry McGinnis
DB Fraley
Bob Lum
Mike Snody
Sal Manaro
Scott Cook
Ernie Emerson
Rick Hinderer
Matt Cucchiara
Todd Begg
Tom Mayo
Neil Blackwood
Ken Onion
Phil Boguszewski
Flavio Ikoma
I may consider trades for other custom folders or balis not listed above. However, I am not interested in serrated blades, production knives, or fixed blades other than those by John Young or Russ Andrews.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
