Damn the CQC7v has been my go to EDC knife for so long. I'm waiting on my HD7 though which I think will be an even better EDC knife. Honestly the CQC7 is so perfect for EDC because it is an excellent knife as well as an self defense tool. The HD7 should be even better though because it is lighter and narrower. That is the only drawback to the CQC7 and most Emerson knives, they are too thick.
