Hello there I know this is my first post but I've been lurking for a while now using the hell out of the "search" feature lol. Anyway I'm new to "quality" knives and have been looking for the right pocket knife for me for weeks now and I think the mini commander might be exactly what I need. Now I'm not trying to question your integrity or offend you in anyway but Emerson's website has me freaked out with all their warnings about counterfeits so how do I know the ones you have are legit?? also is this price shipped? Thank you for your time and again I'm just trying to cover my own a** and yes I'm a little paranoid but getting burnt a few times does that to ya lol.
 
I appreciate your question and yes there are counterfeit Emerson's out there. In fact I have traded and bought and sold knives for 35 years and there have always been counterfeits. When all we traded were case knives and Hen and Rooster's there were counterfeits. Normally you can tell as soon as you pick up the knife.

There are a couple of reasons you do not have to worry about that when buying from me. First you would have to know me, I have NO use for counterfeit knives or the people that deal in them. I have met Ernie Emerson several times and know him to be of the highest caliber. I started this business as a sideline because I love knives, not to make a living. I have a full time professional job. Lantac is a sideline family run business. I buy my knives from reputable distributors and not off of ebay or from unknown sources. In fact, if someone got a counterfeit by me I would be terribly embarrassed.

The dealers here on Bladeforms pay a fee to post in the dealer section. There are allot of very knowledgeable knife people that buy and sell knives on this site. How long do you think a dealer would last on here selling counterfeit knives?

If I can help please let me know. I do have a black blade, plain edge mini-commander in stock ( a real one). The mini-com is a great knife I have owned one myself for a couple of years and carry it in my rotation of EDC knives.

Very well said and your exactly the kind of person that I like to do business with. However I've been reading reviews on Emerson all weekend long and there's just to much bad feedback for me and to many negatives compared to pros for me. What I've settled on is that I need several knives but the one I'm getting immediately is the Zero Tolerance 0350. It basically has everything I want and the only negative for me would be the liner lock but it looks so well built that I don't see it being an issue. You wouldn't happen to have a deal on one of these would you?? I'm also going to get a SOG Tomcat 3.0 and a SOG Vulcan Mini but i'll space those out over the next couple pay checks haha. I'm so glad I found your site too because I was wishing I could buy an Izula from a store that would just wrap it for me because I suck at stuff like that. Anyways thanks again and sorry to make you type all that out!!
