A chance of own a scarce & discontinued Emerson model that is a YouTube star of sorts (start at 4:20 in video below). I saw this way back then, and when it later became available I jumped. I have carried and enjoyed it, as it's previous owners have, but none of us has ever used the blade - pristine original edge. Stunning orangepeal bolsters, "rope" backspacer, full thru-bladestop - this one is just amazing to behold. Extremely smooth action, solid lockup, centered.

Edit to add: the thru-bolted stop pin is one of the greatest mod ideas I've ever seen; it allows for tuning of the action without inducing blade play. This is one of the best Emerson actions I've felt (I've owned at least a hundred). Incredible craftsmanship by Geoff.
