A long time Emerson expert told me "there are less than 5 of these in existence."
Those of you who want a rare custom Emerson, those of you who have asked for a waved Persian, this is it!
For sale custom Emerson Hattin*. $ 1900 for MO, Check, or PP Gift. Add $ 65 for PP goods. Shipping is free but insurance will be $ 25.
Shipping outside the USA will be International Express Mail at extra cost.
This knife has never been carried, sharpened , or even test cut a piece of paper. The Emerson oil is still on the blade (you can see the lint on it in the pics). Never been waved, be the first!
I can’t speak to the future of this waved Persian style knife but now it is rare. The prototype Hattin was offered in the Spring 2013 Lottery. This, to the best of my knowledge, is only the third Hattin Mr. Emerson has crafted.
Think of the Hattin as a needle pointed Persian blade with a wave in a CQC-11 or Roadhouse handle. The blade is 3.875 inches long in a chisel V grind. Titanium bolsters, thick locking liner, green canvas Micarta scales, a black G-10 back spacer and satin hardware. Lock up is early and solid as you would expect. Overall length is 9.375 inches.
It will ship in an Emerson velvet pouch in the Emerson box inside a Spec Ops digicam zippered pouch with an Emerson patch on it.
Trades?
Looking for all Titanium handle CQC-12 with hand ground blade plus $ 1150 cash
Custom CQC-12 plus $ 850 to $ 950 cash depending on condition
* The Battle of Hattin was fought in 1187 between the Crusaders and Saladin’s army. Saladin was victorious and the Hattin’s blade is reminiscent of the pointed curved scimitars used by Saladin’s cavalry.
