How are those E. Emerson hawks? I've never seen one up close but they look pretty good from what I have seen in mags.
 
i've used my freind's and its very good, pretty light compared to sog's fusion tactical tomahawk.witch its not heavy either.
the only thing about the emerson is the sheath it had, its kind of agervating to get out quick because the o rings on the handles. but its a very secure sheath and a very good tomahawk. and like dusty one said it feel good in the hand
 
There is a difference in steel between the two makers. ATC which is sold by Fehrman uses S7 and Emerson uses 4140. Also theres some Rockwell differences ATC is harder 59 or so and the Emerson is 54. I have the ATC and is one sharp, mean bugger. Fast and wicked. They are supposed to be the same weight and about the same cost. I think S7 is a better hard use steel, IMHO.
 
For you guys that have seen them already what are the dimmensions on the eye?
