Emerson Knives Training-Blackwater Lodge

Just wanted to know if anyone else is going to the emerson training session at the Blackwater Lodge in NC. It's a two day instruction course taught by the master himself. Also, does anyone else have any hands on experince with Emerson? What is he like? -Will

I had seen Mr. Emerson in action during the West Coast Academy's Edge Weapons Seminar and he, along with Kevin "Mad Dog" McClung and Guro Marc "Crafty Dog" Denny, presented materials that were realistic in a very logical manner.

I especially liked Mr. Emerson's materials coz they relied on natural, instinctive gross motor movements and made a lot of sense, unlike others who tried to teach complex disarming drills. So, if you do get the chance to attend the Blackwater seminar I suggest you do so. Have fun.
