I ordered a t-shirt from Emerson Knives. The shirt I ordered was the Lethal Edge shirt that has the skull logo on the back. The shirt I received had the Emerson logo on the front as well as back. The invoice stated they had shipped a lethal edge shirt.

I call Emerson knives to let them know the wrong shirt had been shipped. The first guy I talk to says that I must not have been clear about what I wanted. I explained that the invoice shows exactly what I wanted. He then asks me if I want to go ahead and buy the right shirt. I explained that I shouldn't have to buy the right shirt because I bought the right shirt to begin with.

He then hands the phone to a lady that tells me that I will have to pay for shipping to return the shirt and then they will send me the correct shirt.

I have no problem with sending the shirt back, but to expect me to pay for shipping for their mistake seems a little much to me.

Seems like bad customer service to me.

Write them a letter, make a copy for yourself. Call your credit card company and tell them what happened. They'll probably remove the charges and refuse payment to Emerson.

I have considered doing that. If I do I will still ship them back the shirt. I don't want anything I haven't paid for.

Derrick just called me and we got things straightened out.

I wanted to let everyone know. I really appreciate Derrick taking the time to call me, enjoyed the conversation, and am glad we resolved it.

yes, but your post saying Emerson knives.....very very ugly is still up there for the world to see. I would hesitate posting something like this over the wrong t shirt in the future...........bad form

Actually it wasn't over the wrong t-shirt. It was over the bad customer service.

I do not like posting negative feedback. I have let many, many things slide without saying a word.

It is here for the world top see, but it is also true. It is also here for the world to see that it was quickly resolved.

Once again this post was not about a t-shirt.

Dennis,

You had every right to post this here. They should have taken care of you when you called, not after you posted here. If you hadn't posted it here, you would still be sitting there with the wrong shirt and having been treated like you didn't matter one bit to them. What about the people who don't have access to Derrick? I guess they just get the non-BFC treatment. If this is the way Emerson treats people, we all deserve to know about it.

I agree, If you had not posted, They probably would
have "kissed you off" You did the right thing.
I phoned EMERSON a couple of months ago about
an item I wanted some info about, and they "blew
me off" also !
