Hi Gang- I would love to see Emerson Knives offer the CQC-7 and the Commander, or a Mini Commander, in a lockback style folder. These folders would be thin in profile, lightweight and no doubt could be offered at a lower price. And... ALL Emerson.
Any interest?

I'd be interested, but I cannot see a lower price in the pipe. The current configurations as they are are expensive in comparison to similarly built knives. Prices on knives usually only go in one direction.

Thanks, Broh. ^ Good call.
For EDC, I REALLY like the thinness and the light weight of these lockback folders and these would be more like a civilian version of the Emerson military style folder.

dont like it. I personally like the thickness of emerson knives, and i think making them thinner would do the military community a disservice.

No lock backs for me either, unless it's a traditional, or really small sheeple-friendly knife. I like Emersons the way they are.

I would like to see another Emerson Benchmade collaboration. Give me any Emerson model with an Axis lock or a mini Bedlam with a wave. A man can dream.

wooohh yeah an emerson balisong would be awesome. Kind of surprised emerson hasnt done one yet, i believe it was by making balisongs for his Sayoc class that emerson first got into knife making.

Well were on the topic of dream emersons, i really wanna see an emerson cqc-7 with some belly, kind of like the road house, but as a cqc-7.

Liner locks are actually my favorite locking mechanism, but I would never turn down the chance to check out a new Emerson design.

The more the merrier.

Thanks, Guys.
An Emerson lockback would fill a niche. When I was younger, I wanted a tank of a folder in my pocket. Now that I'm older, a halftrack will do just fine. :D
btw, the yoroi toshi blade is a Japanese styled blade designed to punch through the old leather armor worn back in the day. It's one cool looking and effective blade design.

I now feel the same way.^ The lockback is simply a fantastic folder design.

/agreed. I like Emerson knives...but not at the inflated prices. Most every production knife they have is at least $100 higher than comparable knives.
